I am a research scientist at the Scalable Machine Learning team at Yahoo! research, working on ML applications in AdTech. My research focuses on machine learning and probabilistic methods, and has been published in multiple scientific articles.

Before joining Yahoo! Research, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Sierra team at INRIA Paris, advised by Francis Bach. I pursued my PhD with Philipp Hennig in Tübingen working on probabilistic numerics, a field that treats computation as machine learning. Together with Philipp Hennig and Mike Osborne, I wrote a textbook on probabilistic numerics. During my PhD, I did internships at Amazon Research and the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence. I have a background in probability theory and stochastic analysis. I am passionate about communicating ideas and hope to contribute to the beneficial use of AI accross society.

Outside of work, you can find me meditating, reading books, and doing sports.
